Strawberry Hill Hotel, Bedugul, Bali
In the cool of Bali's central mountains, a warm welcome
awaits you at Strawberry Hill Hotel, Bedugul.
On 27 August 2009 the newly completed first 5 rooms opened for business. Incorporating features of a typical Indonesian mountain-style residence, such as wood floors, and wooden-clad walls, each cabin comprises a comfortable, colourful and cozy interior, a balcony facing one of Bedugul's dormant volcanoes, and its own en-suite bathroom complete with bathtub and plenty of hot water, for those unexpectedly cool high-altitude evenings.
Strawberry Hill Restaurant serves tasty Indonesian favourites as well as home made soups, salads and burgers to passing travellers and in-house guests alike. In the evenings diners stay snug beside Bali's only real log fire.
There is plenty to see and do around Bedugul, so schedule a night or two with us en route between the north and south coasts. Visit the unique Ulun Danu Temple, the three crater lakes, the colourful fruit, flower and vegetable market, and the Botanical Gardens, or trek through forests, climb an extinct volcano, or ride a mountain bike.
